Prayer Request

Our History as with any Church, is a VERY  humble beginning. One day during a time of prayer and devotion, the Lord began to place in me a desire that I hadn't experienced before. While laying on the floor in our home at the end of the hallway leading into our bedroom the Lord lead me to I Timothy 3:1-7. After some prayer and fasting the Lord gave me two words. Bethlehem and Holiness. At first I wasn't certain as to how these two words fit together, but I couldn't get the two out of mind. My wife and I began asking other folks to help pray for and with us for God's leading in our lives. That's when the Lord began to open things up, a phone call came shortly after we began seeking the Lord and the person on the other end said; "the Lord woke me up last night and said to send to you $1,000 to help begin a Ministry."  It was at that moment the two words Bethlehem and Holiness became clear to me. Bethlehem-House of Bread and Holiness-- in the highest sense belongs to God (Isa. 6:3; Rev. 15:4), and to Christians as consecrated to God's service, and in so far as they are conformed in all things to the will of God (Rom. 6:19, 22; Eph. 1:4; Titus 1:8; 1 Pet. 1:15). Personal holiness is a work of gradual development. It is carried on under many hindrances, hence the frequent admonitions to watchfulness, prayer, and perseverance (1 Cor. 1:30; 2 Cor. 7:1; Eph. 4:23, 24)   So began Bethlehem Holiness. Its who we are and what we do.
